We are very thankful for the year we have had in 2018. In a turbulent and unpredictable world, we are truly grateful for the Lord's financial provision. Our churches have contributed significantly to the work, providing over $2.28 million of our total income. We are also very thankful for individual donors, who continue to invest in the work and gave over $1.07 million.
The Central Resource Team supports our expanding family, providing oversight of assessment as well as financial management, IT, communications and branding expertise. We work hard to maximise the resources available to all 11 Networks, investing $1.56 million in their development.
In 2018, we initiated and resourced various projects:
• Two of the collaboratives, Rural and Church in Hard Places, were launched.
• Network Leadership Teams from around the world gathered together in Berlin in July.
• Our partnership with Compassion International continues to grow, with the ambition of planting churches in Brazil and beyond.
• Investment continues in Academies which provide robust, in-context theological training.
Through careful management and fiscal responsibility, we have adequate reserves held for 2019 and monies put aside for the substantial expenditure necessary to run the Global Gathering. In 2019, the aim is to grow our donor base through the launch of the 1000 in for 1000 campaign. Please join us in praying that this will not only sustain our current level of activity, but also enable us to do even more for the honour and reputation of our Saviour.
